just try some stuff to see what he likes.

oh yeah, crickets will fatten em up if you load your crickets up real good, and use large crickets if possible.

I just had to fatten up my female after her first clutch of eggs. I fed her some fat gut loaded crickets. I fed the crickets carrots, strawberry tops, fluckers cricket food, orange peel, some potato peel and a few other things, it seams to do well. Also wax worms work well especialy with young that you want to fatten up quickly, and they love them. I also have given them a pinkie or two but remember these are like eating a stick of butter so don't fead them too often. My female gained her weight back really quick with the diet I gave her. You can also try some greans just to mix up their diet. Offer some dandelion flowers, most people don't have a problem finding them in their grass just be sure their are no pesticide on them. Some of my Collards have eaten them some have not so give it a try. If your collard was healthy before and suddenly lost weight I would be concerned about parasites. If so ask on the forum and someone will help on where to get the right stuff to treet for worms and avoid an expensive vet bill. The medication has no side effects, is easy to medicate with and is cheep so it's not a huge problem. I just feel it is very important to give your collard a variety of food to keep them nice and happy hope this helps to make him/her good and fat.
