Hi, I have to give a powerpoint presentation for my paper on color morphs on snakes in my genetics class. Well I really would like to throw in a few slides of some real good examples of high priced morphs. If anyone could give me the prices for some good morphs or even the original price for the first one like the first albino or hypo. It doesnt have to be just pythons I can use it on boas or corns. But just anything to help like that. Also if anyone could tell me the price for piebald Snowflake sold by Bosch. I appreciate any help
Thanks

The first albino cost about 25,000.00 the first hypo cost about 7,000.00-10,000.00. The most high priced morph is a black eyed leucistics that is 250,000.00, blue eyed leucistics is 150,000.00, platinums are 50,000.00. and the piebald snowflake produced by bosch I don't think bosch sold it but the price for that one I would say about 13,000.00. Hope This Helps Scott Glover

the first wild caught albino i dont know but the first one offered to the market was 7500 from bob clark long before the prices from today were established.........as for the lucy's you can put whatever price yuo want on them but i guarantee now that they are being produced in numbers as many have mojaves by now nobody will ever get your 150,000 price quote........true they may have asked or even been offered silly money like that but there are too many ways to make them now

Do you think the blue eyed lucys from a platinum bred to a mojave will keep their price because if a blue eyed lucy (from a platinum x mojave)is bred to normals it can produce platinums and mojaves. But if a blue eyed lucy (from a mojave x mojave) is bred to normals it will only produce mojaves. I think the price for lucys from a platinum x mojave will stay, but the price for lucys from mojave x mojave will drop way down????????????. Thanks Scott Glover

The law of supply and demand says that when the supply goes up the demand goes down (and so does price no matter how bad you want it to stay high). That is why nobody sells these morphs until they have several proved out and ready to go, that way they have a 2-3 price starts to drop.
