Adult boa rescued

well I usually post in the ball python or small ground snake forum as that is what I usually keep. Only today I went in to buy some crickets and ended up being given a 6 foot red tail. The owner of the store is a friend of mine and knows I care a lot for snakes. Someone brought this poor guy in and dumped him. He has a fairly bad respritory infection, red blotches on the belly and a really bad retained eye cap that looks crusted over. HE basically handed me a box and said, here you need to take this home and make him better. I will post pics and update after tomorrows vet visit. I am sure I will have questions for you all. For now the snake is in a nice dry new enclosure with a zoo med pad under 1/3 the space, a nice god bowl of water, and some clean aspen shavings.
