my baby snaps fighten...

i have too baby snapping turtles.. common snapping turtles... found both of them in to different ponds. there about the same size. 1 is just a tad bit bigger. they seem to fight over food, i will throw ham in there and they will fight over it. tonight 1 of the turtles had 1 other turtles foot in his moutn but it didnt look like it was hurting the otehr turtle becuase the other 1 was still going for the food.. i dont want 1 of them 2 die and i dont wanna seperate them what do i do..

how is you tank set up? I have three in the same tank 1 common and 2 ally's and never have a problem.

Keeping snapping turtles together isn't always a good idea, unless you want to deal with bitten legs and other body parts.
