Dumb Darkling Beetles

Kendergirl Apr 08, 2005 09:36 AM

I just got my first beetle yesterday, and I think I'll have several more in the next day or two. These guys are DUMB! It spends most of it's time on it's back. I flip it over, and it goes belly up again. Should I worry, I just let the dumb thing right itself?

Beetles will often have a hard time righting themselves if they are dehydrated. Try placing some fresh veggies in the container, and place the beetles on it. They should eat it, and it shoukd do the trick.
