Emergency Red Blood Question

billykiesel Apr 08, 2005 12:09 PM

I JUST GOT A BIG FEMALE RED BLOOD TUESDAY. SHE IS BEAUTIFUL, SHE SEEMS TO BE IN SHED RIGHT NOW SO I GUESS THAT WHY SHE WONT EAT. BUT SHE IS REAL SKINNY AND HER SKIN IS REAL LOOSE. THE GUY I GOT HER FROM WAS PUTTING HER THROUGH A COOLING PERIOD AND WASNT FEEDING HER AS MUCH. IS THIS A MAJOR PROBLEM OR SHE ALRIGHT?
AND ANOTHER WHERE HER CLOACA IS, IT SORTA OPENS AS IF SHES DEFICATING BUT NOTHING COMES OUT. IS THIS NORMAL?
AND ONE MORE THING.
WILL A VET CHECK THEIR FECES? IF I WERE TO TAKE IT TO THE ONE?
THANK YOU
BILLY

Hey Billy,

Hope she gets better. Here's a good site for you. It has a list of vet's that either specialize in reptiles or at least know more than your average vet. Any vet that know's his or her stuff can easily do a fecal test. I can't answer all your questions as I just got into bloods myself and won't pretend I know it all.

Hope this helps.
