Today I was going to go to a petstore with my brother to buy another hide so we can have that moist hide everyone talks about, but there I was thinking about getting a gecko for myself and putting it in the same cage. Iknow you can't have two males together, so is ours too young to sex? Or do I get it and hope it works? Or just not get one? I don't know how old it is, but it's very small, around the size of my pinky finger. Thanks!

It is a good idea not to buy a leo and put in in the cage with the one you already have.... Any time you aquire a new pet reptile you should keep it away from the rest of your reptile pets for atleast 90 days.... If you get it, make sure you do not introduce it to the one you have already..... Sicknesses can be passed along and could end in both of them dieing.....

At any rate if you want one a 10 gallon tank only costs about $15 after you buy a lid.

Then you can buy a light and light holder at a home improvement store(home depot, lowes, menards).

Use paper towel substrate and you're all set.
