Hurrah!

Long 8 week saga of parasite medication is over! Turtle and Tank are now cleared to live in a real terrarium again. Poor little guys have been living on towels for two months. They're swarming over their new furniture today like little kids at McPlayland.

Also, Joe has moved back in with Arthur. So far, no problems, for the simple fact that I don't think they've seen each other yet. Joe's still shedding, but it's coming off slowly - he's brilliant orange under the old skin. I wish I could get a picture that would show it like it really looks!

If you're wondering about his Bugs Bunny teeth - yes, that's really what it looks like. When I first got him, he bashed his face on the side of the aquarium and the split got infected. He lost part of the tissue there. It healed all around, but it will never grow back.

They just wouldn't go away. It was "just" pinworms, which don't even have to be totally eliminated, depending on your school of thought. But Turtle and Tank (Turtle especially) are very small for their age, so I'm trying to get them as clean as possible. Fortunately, I only had to dose them once a week, so they don't hate me any more than usual.
