I'm currently looking for tadpoles of the African clawed frog - any help would be great as I'm on a deadline. Anyone? Thanks,
Jeff

Hey Jeff,

I've been studying Xenopus for a while now. They are just starting to breed. During the warm weather SoCal had 2-days ago I heard calling individuals. Yes, they call beneath the water but it was a silent night and they were heard. Hey when do you want to go look for Tantilla?

I was wondering if it was still too early, but I checked Tecolote today and saw nothing (but a horned lizard, helleri, and a lateralis). You still looking for those silly little snakes, lol. I get tons in our pitfall trap arrays in peak season, but they can be flipped pretty easy right now.
