HELP! I'M DOING THIS FOR A LITTLE OLD LADY AND I'M COFUSED!!!

sk8erdude360 Jul 10, 2003 09:38 AM

OK...I got this little old lady who has a tadpoll, and I got nothing. I haven't got a species, I haven't even got a photo. All I got is this little old lady who has no idea what she is getting herself into. Can you please find me an inexpensive(for the tap. itself and for maintenance) tadpoll with a lot of information for THE BIGGEST POSSIBLE NOVICE!!! SHE JUST THINKS IT WILL SIT AN A GLAD-WARE AND HER GRANDKIDS CAN WATCH IT TRANSFORM BEFORE THEIR EYES!!! Prefereble small with lots of color (not poisonous, you know those kids are going to flip and want to hold it like crazy, and they probablly will get it some, not a lot (supervised anyway **wink**).

Well, you're not going to find one with lots of colors that's not inexpensive or non-poisonous. So you may as well just go out to a local pond or stream and catch some tadpoles. You could even set it up in a large plastic container as long as it is airated and the water is changed at least every other day for 1 more for more. You can feed them algae pellets or tadpole bite or flake fish food.

You've got me confused also! First you say this old lady already has a tadpole, then you want info as to where you can buy one....? You have two options, either be straight with her, and tell her, "Sorry I can't help you with this, I honestly feel that you haven't a clue as to what you are doing, and I don't want to be part of the "killing" " or you could be nice and do all the work for her, and the tads gonna die anyway. I personally would take the first option, but thats just me, sometimes I'm mean, even to little old ladies......sorry
