basking log, basking light hot enough to generate temps between 95-115F
Digital thermometer with probe is a must, as round dial like thermometers petstore sell are next to useless. with a digital thermometer, you can place the probe directly on teh basking spot for a more accurate reading. Temp guns are the next best step up from a digital thermometer.
UVB bulb
papertowel substrate
One or more hides.
Cage of about 20-35 gal for baby dragons, 55 gal long or 40 breeder for adult (anything that is around 4'x2'x2' for single adult dragon)
multi vitamine and calcium with D3 suppliments
No mealworms for babies, treats only for older dragons
Crickets are great stable insect food, make sure you buy them at the right size, no larger than the space between the dragon's eyes. Better feeder insects are roaches, silkworms, butterworms.
Fresh greens, like collards, dandelion greens, mustard greens, turnup greens, endive, escaroli and other dark leafy greens. Stay away fro spinach as they are high in oxiates which bind calcium. Kale is good once in awhile, but h ave it mixed up with one or more of the first 4-5 greens listed.
Other vegetables can be added as toppings.
