can raccoons eat adult eastern boxies

i have a groupe of boxies and i am just starting to put mine back out side. but this winter the snow broke the top of my enclosure off. will the turtles be fine with out a lid or will they get eaten? i see lots of raccoons every night.

raccoons are trouble for just about everyone and everything, they're so curious that they can spend hours trying to get one meal, and that meal could be a boxie, their jaws have a great deal of strenght for their size and they have them little hands that can pry just about anything open if they really want to, large males are more dangerous than females and juveniles, I'd say put a lid on it, use hardware clothe instead of chicken wire, adult male coons have been known to tear chicken wire open.

Does a bear crap in the woods. Yes raccoons can eat boxies. I would enclose it as quick as possible. Raccoons are nasty little things and very clever and strong for their size.
