Only one egg??? >>>

Cleopatra Jul 10, 2003 10:17 AM

When I came to check on the geckos this morning, I found that Beanie had laid an egg...her 6th clutch. It was still soft and warm so I figured she just laid it (I had to remove it though because it was sticking to the plastic of the laying box. Because I thought she just laid it, I assumed she was going to lay another one. That was at 9 o clock this morning. I just checked back and there is no other egg. So, could one egg mean that this is her last clutch for the season (*hopefully*). Thanks!!!

I will say that it could mean that. Sometimes when they are close to stop laying they either lay one good one infertile or they start laying only one, but it all depends on the gecko. Some even lay perfect eggs until the end.
