I heard you can pick up disposable water bowls REALLY cheap.....Anyone know where. I have tried a Yahoo! search, and came up with nothing. Anyone have any ideas? A link would be great.

Do a second search on "deli containers" or "deli solo".

Hello,
Most people use PVC Couplers for 4" drain pipe and use either 12 or 16 oz deli cups as a liner. We have found that our snakes push these around the cage a little too easily. I decided to switch to using standard 5" ceramic crock dishes (like dog food bowls) and using the 12 oz deli cups for them. The deli cups will last a few months if you are wiping them or rinsing them every week. When they get too funky for you... just throw them out! You can order the deli cups without holes from Superior Enterprises and just tell them you want the cheapest ones because you are using them for water bowls.
Here is a pic of how ours is set-up. Please excuse the snakes breeding... I looked through a bunch of pics but couldn't find one with a decent view of a water bowl.

Good Luck!

That ugly spider breeding a big @$$ female didn't you.......man I knew I should not have asked here. I did not want to see snakes breeding. You are lucky I am over 18, or that would be porn.......just messing with ya.
Thanks for the tip.........good looking spider by the way.
Jason
Sorry man...
I would have taken a new photo for you without the snakes in it but Celia gets damn scarry when I mess with her camera stuff! Never mess with her about her camera stuff!
I appreciate the compliment on the Spider... he is pretty small and that female is a medium sized one. We were just taking some breeding pics for the record keeping and didn't feel like removing the water bowl. I just thought you'd get a better idea of the ceramic bowl thing if you had a pic
Have fun...

I appreciate it Sean. You gave me an excellent idea. The ceramic crock are pretty cheap where I am too. I found the disposable water bowls at the link below on the recommendation of Michael Pennell. Thanks MPenn, and thanks for the idea of putting them in the crock Sean.
Good luck with the breeding this year.

Disposable Water Bowls
Hey Sean a little off topic but where do you get your 5 inch ceremic bowls from and how much? thanks again Paul
Paul,
Unfortunately I don't have a good source for you. We have a retail department in our business so we are able to deal with pet supply wholesalers. These companies are really strict about only dealing with "lisenced" resellers.
I would recommend checking around in local pet stores for the best price on case lots. Also do a search on the internet for them. Some of these online pet supply places might have a better deal. I can't ship them because they are so breakable or else I would offer them to you.
Sorry man... good luck with it.
The popular brand sold by pet stores is PetCetera, I get cheaper chinese knock-offs instead.
Hope this helps...

The Crawl Space
...asked the jerk..ahh, I mean clerk...she got ALL bent out of shape cause I wasn't buying macaroni salad to go in them...had to get the store mgr involved just to buy a dozen deli cups...lordy...lol!!
SJM
LOL, I don't use em, but the local grocery knows I have reptiles and the gal would probably just shake her head and grin.
Quig
Use plastic cups sitting inside a ceramic, but I don't throw away. Clean them with household vinegar, hot water.
There's too much garbage going out to the dumps.
Mike
No offense OK, but if you clean them anyways, why bother with the deli cups at all? Glazed ceramic isn't very porous is it. It should clean up as easily as a deli cup. Just thinkin' outloud.
