My Stupid Question of the day --->

toshamc Apr 09, 2005 01:56 PM

I was looking at an ad for a pastel het ivory. I'm assuming that this means that this snake comes from a pastel x yellow belly and carries the yellow belly trait, right? My question would be: a pastel belly is fairly similar to a yellow belly so how can you tell that the pastel has an actual yellow belly not just a typical pastel belly?

Most high end morphs have bellys that look pretty similar to that of a yellow belly. If it wasn't produced from a pastel x ivory which would give you 50% YB and 50% pastel YB, then I wouldn't trust it.
