CRB Birth Announcement!!!

Biophiliacs Apr 09, 2005 06:21 PM

Hey all-
I have been waiting to see if my male, below, could produce other rainbows as light as he is... first test bred litter results inconclusive! I had bred this male to a normal female in 2002 and received 13 beautiful brick red babies that year. Kept back a male and a female from that litter. His daughter is just a little over 3 years old now. I had introduced them(father and daughter) in early December and she took right away. A little small at 3.5 but she still graced me with 4 perfect babies and no slugs.. 2 weeks ago.
Picture of adults, for an idea of his color.
Thanks-
Matt Schubarth

These are 2 of the 4 babies that represent the 3rd generation of CRB's in my collection. Born from my very light male and one of his daughters. A little pinker than usual but I'll probably have to wait till next year to see if they color up like their male parent.
Thanks for looking-

Nice looking adults, cute little babies! Is the date on the pic supposed to be in April? ...or are you wishing? LOL

First KSRB's of the year?

Linda

The camera is set for day/month/year. What's KSRB?

The subtle beauty of the CRB is kind of under appreciated. My first snake was a Colombian and she was the most gentle of snakes (though now the Woma I have has taken over that distinction).
Anyway, be neat to see if the fathers coloration comes through.
