Remember that spraying water will cool rapidly before it hits a surface (such as the cham). If you run the water at a temp that feels warm to YOU it will be about 100 F. By the time the sprayed water bounces off the shower wall and hits the plant with the cham it will be even cooler. I don't know if there is a set temp for "luke warm" but I would suspect it is about 100 F. As human's body temp is 98.6, this would feel just slightly warm to us. When I fill a pump sprayer with hot water I make it as hot as I can out of the tap. The chams never mind the resulting temp. For a larger volume of water in the shower I would make it hot enough for myself to shower in comfortably. You won't burn the cham.
Honestly, there isn't an exact temperature that you are shooting for.
When in doubt, think to what you are trying to replicate: RAIN
What temperature is rain? Slightly cooler than air temperature?
So, if the the temperature in your enclosure is 80 degrees, your rain (theoretically) should be somewhere around that temp. The warmer you make the water, the more active your chameleon will be when being showered.
Personally, I adjust the water until it is a tiny bit cooler than my body temp. So, by the time it gets to the cham it is right in the preferred temp.
