Very First Hatchlings very first meal! (pics)

Well I only got one live baby from Cleo and Banshee. It hatched on July 1 (79 days of incubation) and shed on July 8th. Today it took it's first meal. I First offered it a whole pinkie, but it was obvious that was gonna be a no-go! What you see it eating here is JUST the head of the tiniest pinkie I could find (it was only a couple hours old)

Took it about 40 min to struggle the head down, but it finally went!

Tiny little snake aint it! I would like to pop it and find out the sex, but it is so tiny I am afraid of squeezing it to death!

How many feedings of just pinkie heads do you figure I will have to do before this little runt gets large enough to eat an entire pinkie?

It is just the pictures or does your baby have a bump on his head?

I was kind of hoping it is going to grow out of that bump! But yeah, it has a bump on it's forhead rather than a nice smooth snout like all my other corns!

It's my first hatchling, I'm hoping it's normal, but I was afraid to ask just in case it isn't normal!!

Oh no...I know you're excited and all but I think that bump may be a sign of a problem.

A while back, someone here bought a corn from a reputable breeder, posted a pic and it had a bump just like that. Because of the deformity, the breeder apologized and replaced the snake free of charge. You may want to post more pictures and ask for opinions here. I honestly can't recall why the bump was a serious issue but some felt it was.
