My BTS will not eat for some reason. He ate small bites of a banana out of my hand. But he will not eat anything I put in his cage. I put a mixture of collard greens, with a little boiled chicken, and a little cate food. And a couple of small hunks of apple, with calcium dust. But he wont' touch it.

I've only had him for a few days. I have him set up with a flat stone for basking, cypress mulch, 100 degree hot spot, and several inbetween spots, lowest being about 75. He has a hide box as well.

Any help on getting him to eat right would much appreciated.

p.s. And I've tried mixing a scrambled egg in the food to "tantalize" him.

But mostly, just leave him alone. Give him time to settle in (no handling, etc) and he'll likely come around. Make sure the cage is not in a high traffic area, etc. I'm sure he's under a bit of stress with the new home, etc and just needs time.
