hey patrick... i have had this happen a few times... i breed my own mice and rats so i have a wide size variety...
i would recomend that you go to a few pet shops or one if your lucky and see if you can find a really small hopper... some of my hoppers are the size of a pinkie...
then at lights out rince the mouse in the sink for a few seconds and give your snake some privacy and check up of him in the morning... i have a few adult snakes that are vary shy eaters and have never eaten while people are around or if their is any noise...
so make sure its quiet and dark... i have never had a small hopper bite but it is possable... so use your best judgement...
hope you can make since out of all that rambeling i did.. lol
best of luck
