Snake eating Marsupial pics.

Very cool pics. It looks like the snake is eating a Kangaroo but it's probably a Wallabee(sp? which are smaller.

BTW, what kind of snake is that?

Is there any way to tell roughly how long that snake is?

There's really not much to add scale to the pic. According to Cogger, they average 3.5 meters, which is 11 1/2 feet. He also says that Worrell mentions a giant of 8.5 meters (27 3/4 feet).
The snake in the pic could easily be at or above sixteen feet.

Hard to tell without knowing what species of Macropod that was, but I suspect that snake was between 10-12 feet long.
