After getting skunked on these guys many times, my persistence paid off. 5 feet long and very strong, sat still long enough for me to get some shots with my SLR, but when I broke out the digi, he got real cranky and wouldn't sit still. Had some battle scars on the side of his head, and neck unfortunately, but still pretty, and exciting. He was hangin out in a sandy oak savannah in north-east Iroquois county, right on the Indiana border. Pics soon
