i believe that they are from deserts of yemen (correct me if im wrong), and in relation to other chameleons such as jackons they do need higher temps and lower humidity. But the temps they gave:
"A cage that is maintained in the 70s Fahrenheit by day and the 60s by night will work well. A daytime basking area with a surface temperature of 88 degrees..."
seem a little off: a basking temp for a veiled should be more around 95-105 degrees, ambient temp around 80-85, and about a 10 degree drop in temt at night.
