Red sided garter question

Hey guys-

I was wondering what the normal length and width(girth) of an almost 3 year old red sided garter would be? Mine is around 2 1/2 feet long and it is pretty thin. I was just wondering what do to do maybe beef her( i think its a girl) a bit? Thanks ya'll.

It's probally a male.Males are usually thin no matter how much you feed them.
