i understand that this would depend on the ammount of offspring inside but at what stage would you see a significant lump in her lower body, or the streched scales?

it really depends on the snake... size, age, weight... it all makes a big difference...
i have had snakes be gravid and dident even know it... and i have had a few that i thought for sure were gravid and they were not...
i know this dident help you at all... sorry...
