My beardie had a $500 LUNCH!!!!

HypoBeardies May 16, 2003 05:12 PM

One of my hets (from Dachius) escaped from his cage on our baby rack and managed to fall into my baby leo bin. He ate TWO $125 leos, and ate another one's tail and popped out another one's eye. He has shown no signs of illness or discomfort. I put him into the "maximum security" cage, LOL but just thought I would share....anyone want a one-eyed Super Hypo Tang?

Oh man, I guess he was hungry. Sorry to hear about it, and hope he sticks to eating crickets from now on.

Yeah sure I'll take the one eyed one lol. If you want to breed then thees nothing wrong with having one with one eye.

LOL!!! that's certainly the most funnest thing I have read in awhile. Better keep the beardie cages away from your leo's next time...that beardie may get jaded tastes LOL

just found it funny...dragon managed to get out and falls into another cage...though at first frustrated as it is still not free to run in big open spaces..it spots a gourmet meal! And all that work getting out of his cage, I am sure that beardie really needed the snack.

It's one of those situations that aren't funny when it happens but when thinking back on it, they're funny has heck.

It's funny too as my beardie escaped from my hand and fell into my mouse cage. THe mice were smart enough to scatter into their tunnels and nests out of sight, leaving my beardie intent on trying to get out of the new predictament it found itself in.

He was trying to be independent. Accidents happen, we leanr from them.... thats probably one very resourceful beardie you have

The frustrating thing is...he's just a pig! LOL! I just received my 10,000 crix for this month yesterday, along with 5,000 supers. They were all fat looking and seemed statisifed. He's just a hog! LOL!
