this is a ? for everybody who is breeding henkels. What size cage are you using to keep a pair in, and what type of substrate are you using? thanks alot

Hey, I have mine in a 3 foot tall X 2 feet wide X 2 feet deep homemade meamine cage with a screen front and half the top screen. I use bed-a-beast for the floor but I don't keep it moist all the time so that encourages my female to lay in the laying box that I have about 4 inches of moss in. Hope that helps. i have an inverted 29 gal w/ a few snake plants, and some moss and some peat as substrate.
