skin problem

Also posted on the Python forum... hoping for a quick response...

I'm very worried about my irian jaya carpet python. She has what looks like a burn on her skin, altho there's been no trauma or other issue that I'm aware of. I suspect it's an infection of some sort, but I'm a relatively new snake owner, and know very little.

I noticed it when she shed 3 days ago, altho it didn't look as bad then. She's very lethargic, and is currently lying uncoiled.

I'll be taking her to the vet tomorrow, but am hoping that someone can tell me if this looks familiar.

Thx.
