So far so good, five CBB Lateralis lateralis out and crawling all over their cages. Even just one day old, the Carpets are very reclusive, much more standoffish than Panther hatchlings. Its amazing something so tiny has the innate programming to hide itself and to survive. Seven eggs to go, fingers crossed. This has been a long time in the making! I promise pictures soon, my digital camera is with my boyfriend in AZ right now at the national ARAV (Assn of Reptilian and Amphibian Veterinarians) conference.
