Ate his first pinkie yesterday!!! I washed a F/T pink and scented it with ground skink blood.
You are really going to like this snake...
Awesome about the scarlet king eggs. Can't wait to see those babies.
Take care,
Michael

Michael,
That's awesome.
You sure that you still want to give him up???
Can't wait for the Sandhills next week!

Hey Peter,
You know, I am having mixed feelings about giving him up after all it took to get him to take a pink. I had tried everything man...live, washed FT, brained, scented with ground skink, sliced open with a ground skink tail stuffed inside, wrapped in snake skin...
That is a great feeling after all the frustration of trying for SEVEN MONTHS to get him switched over to see him finally eat one.
If I do change my mind and decide to keep him, I will bring something you will like even better with me to the sandhills.
Looking forward to that trip. Just a week and three days...
Michael
Michael,
Keep him. You worked hard to switch him over and I bet you find a female for him from the same locale.
I have 22 snakes due to lay eggs in April and May... I will have my hands full anyway!
