Hey Chris and everyone else who helped me, first off THANK YOU!!!! With out everyone to help me, I could never have done it. TY TY TY

My beardies enclosure is finally finished!!!!

There is a 36" shop light fixture, with a 36" 10 UV bulb. A basking spot and a CHE on the oppisit side thats hooked to an Alife to keep that side of his encloser at about 80.

Now I need to do the fun stiff like adding decorations

I only had 1 problem, home depot cut the front dam a lil crooked, so I used liquid nails to build it up and even out the dam, so there wouldn't be any problem with the tracks and sliding windows.

Whatcha think?

just to show the lighting and heating

as you can see from the scratches, I got lazy, and just grabbed some plexi glass. I thought I could at least get until winter w/o having to buy glass, but hes started scratching it already (badly) lol So in a month or so I will just get glass

Hey, that's great work. I think you made the right choice by building a simple melamine enclosure for your first attempt.

I have also had upper and lower lips of cages end up a bit crooked when Home Depot cut them. I always have them cut a bit oversize and then straighten them out with my circular saw and a straight edge.

But I like your idea of leveling things out with Liquid Nails. Just like a brick layer would do with an uneven layer of brick - set down a thick layer for mortor and press each brick in level.

Thanks for posting the picture.

I hadda use the liquid nails cuz i didnt wanna go back to home depot and have them recut- i had been there SO much lol and the only thing I had to cut with is the jigsaw, and that wouldnt have worked too well. So yup I cobbed it up hehehe

Now when I SOMEDAY get a piebald BP I will know how to make a nice easy enclosure
