Bosc Advice

chameleon2005 Jul 10, 2003 12:31 PM

I have a baby Bosc who is doing great apart from 2 things that i would like to see if there is any way to stop;

1.) He Continually craps in his water bowl! Although this makes cleaning the tank brilliantly easy is this normal?

2.) He does NOT enjoy being handled any pointers as to settle him down?

One more thing what`s the best diet for him?
Currently i feed him every other day on a variety of locust, crickets, fuzzy mice, snails, quail eggs and caterpillars.
Is there anything else he should get or anything i am giving him that he shouldn`t be getting?

Thanks

That's very normal with the water bowl thing.They try to make your job easier Just keep interacting with it.When small,they hate to be handled,but soon adjust to it.My tamest Sav was a hissing, mean little thing for 3-4 months before she calmed down.The diet is good,but that much variety isn't needed.Crickets,then mice and quail would be sufficient.
