Chris....That is a fine looking milksnake phase. If it is one of David Weymouth's it was OUT OF THIS WORLD when it emerged from the egg. I think he had three of them in 2003. I wanted to get one but never got around to it.
It looks similar to this one from Vivid but the orange is lighter on mine....My stud male milksnake phase...

Ya I was lucky to get her. You have one helluva nice MS phase male there too, with one important advantage. Yours is breeding this year LOL. I think David @ Mountainkings still has some really nice ones left from 2004. I don't know if he sold his business as a package yet or if he's going to start selling off bits and pieces.
But truth be told ole Bodner has us all beat. He's got a couple that are the cream of the crop. I think he got that one from Tim @ Vivid. All of us owe alot to Tim Gebhard for producing the best thayeri bar none.
Here's one more new pic of her.
Thanks Chris,
And I have to agree with you.....The Bodners will be producing some of the best Thayeri around in the next few years. I only wish I had the cash at the time to spend on the ones I wanted. I have many coming up that will be second generation line breeding so I hope to produce some nicer ones next year and the year after and so on.....Like I stated earlier I like to throw in other bloodlines to get some other genes working. The Bodners are doing the same I believe and they have awesome Thayeri to show from their efforts....
And yes.....Tim at Vivid has produced the nicest Thayeri around....but Dan V. has produced some of the most unique Thayeri out there.
I have seen many Thayeri on this site from the likes of many new breeders. I am glad that Nuevo Leon kingsnakes are making their way back into popularity.....Not even 5 years ago they were in a slump along with other Mexicana kingsnakes, especially the Mexmex....But as you can see in many posts below the Mexmex is on its way back too. Now, I think Greeri should make its comeback.
I think people are after variability, thus the double and triple het breedings in Brooksi and Hondos......Hell we get that variability by breeding normal Mexicana, het for nothing together....
I know this little forum is just a microscopic part of the big picture in the herp world, but I would like to think that it guages the popularity of species.
The popularity has grown over the last 5 years to a point were I am all sold out of my Mexicana first clutches this year....That is a first for me....and I sure do hope some second clutches are laid because I REALLY want to have some for myself too...............LOL!!
