He snuck up and cuddled then bit her collar and she starting flailing and flipped showing her tummy. Then he went on the basking rock and when he went near her she moved quickly only showing him her front side. She's not gravid.

well walter started mating with ivan in january and she did not turn gravid until sometime in february. sometimes the boys can tell things we cannot! or in walter's case some are just really, um, virile. maybe you will get some eggs.
just keep an eye out on her neck. sometimes the boys get too persistant and last year ivan got a chunk ripped out of her neck. she still has the scar today.
