Another "new" mex mex male

Eimon Apr 12, 2005 05:16 AM

Picked this guy up for the female I've had for a while. I think they match up pretty well. The male I've had is even darker (and a lot older) than both of these, but hasn't done anything the past several years. I'll get a pic of him as soon as he sheds. And thanks for taking my post line, JL.........lol. BTW- get that vichris guy out of here. Just what the world needs, more killer thayers....hehe. Actually, Yuma is pretty darn close to San Diego.........hummmmm?

Thats a great looking pair of mex mex. Good luck breeding them.

Thx for the compliment on my thayeri. BTW I don't live in Yuma. Thats another "Chris". I live somewhere else but I'm not telling where after that last comment, LOL

Well, I knew it was one of the Chris's. Then your probably not that close, so I don't need to know. I'll just go visit the other one!....LOL. I hear he's got a few nice ones too. Seriously guys, it's amazing how sharp your focus is with these thayeri. As a group, including Dan, just the best examples of the kind out there. Of course I'd also put David in there, but since his thing has/is changing, his props will have to be "known as." It's really nice to see the spirit and enthusiasm all of you show and share on this board. It's a great "mini" group.

Great looking pair Eimon.....When will you breed them? Next year?
My dark phase female is swelling with eggs now. I cannot wait to see the offspring from her and my splitbanded male.

Nice mex mex's, that pairing should be good and I'm the one in Yuma.

Hey John, they're ready to go this year. Just waiting for the female to shed. I brought up my snakes a little later than usual this year, so I'm just starting to pair everyone up. They aren't the Ric Blair "blacks" I got earlier. Those will take at least another year, probably 2 before they're ready.

I wish you all the luck in the world with your Mexmex....
Great to see others working with them....I really want to make some dark phase splitbanded ones myself.....Maybe this year.
Post a pic of your pair.....So I can drool again....
