it JUST hatched, as stated, it's 1 hour old. which would probably still put it in it's incubation box. also, there's many things that are much more of a danger in that " box" rather than just it's size. take a look at the substrates. i'm sure, if he's hatching out this gecko, that he probably knows what he's doing with it after it hatches.....
Just wanted to say Thanks for clarifying that flamedcrestie, see...this is what they all end up in at the end. Simple and just what they need.
Now you tell me what you think...the hatchlings are no bigger then 2 inches or so...
And thats probably a 16" X 12" tub and the hide spots are 3 1/2" X 3 1/2"

i don't know much about them. but if i were housing more than a few juveniles i would have mine set up quite similar. i'd keep them like that for the first few months probably though. here's the way i keep my cresteds set up.
