Feeding Finch bird seed

uromagnus Apr 12, 2005 06:01 PM

Can Finch bird seed be fed to a 7 month old Uro with out grinding it? The seed is so small to start with that I was thinking it is ok but read somewhere that it can compact a young Uro.

I know you're already careful about your temperatures, and that's an important factor. The other one is moisture - make sure he's eating plenty of greens and there shouldn't be a problem. I'm feeding Scuttlebutt seeds, but not beans and lentils yet, just to be sure.
