You can make your own incubator. Thats what I do. You can make a small one or a large one its up to you.
You can start with a ten gallon tank, 2 bricks, a shoebox for the eggs and incubating material, a submersible heater and a tight fitting lid, no air flow in the lid
You put the two bricks in the bottom of the tank then put the shoebox on top of the bricks, fill the tank with water to just below the top of the bricks. Put the submersible heater in the water and let it sit for about an hour before plugging it in. Set the temp on the heater and then wait about a half hour to see if the temp is correct. Actually you dont want the egg container with the eggs in there while you are calibrating the incubator. But be sure to put the top on the tank. Ive even used aquarium backing for the top. And make sure the shoebox has a lid too, you wont want water dripping on the eggs. After you get the incubator to the right temps then put the container with eggs on the bricks and close the lid. Just be sure to open the lid every other day and give them fresh air. I have used this method every time and had almost 100% hatch rate from it too.
If anything is confusing just feel free to ask more questions. And If you dont want to use a ten gallon tank , you can use a styrofoam cooler.
hope this helps

nathan
p.s. as soon as i get batteries for my camera Ill take a picture for you.
Hi Brittany!
I got mine from the local feed store. Here are several choices, call first to see if they have a simple Hovabator (sp) without egg turner & withour fan:
Marietta Feed & Seed 781-9131, 8051 W Beaver St
Circle K Feed 783-4327, 9123 W Beaver St
Two Time Tack & Feed 262-7574, 7420 Rosco Ave in Mandarin
Good Luck!
Sharla
Most feed stores or the Tractor Supply store on Blanding have Hobavator incubators or chicken incubators. I made mine out of a fish shipping Styrofoam container. But after I bought the thermostat and heatstrip, I don't think I saved any money. If you need anymore info, e-mail me and I'll be glad to send you pics of the one's I made.

Have you tried a feed store? They usually have them for chicken eggs. I live in Clearwater, FL and my feed store has them. We only have one feed store here too. Not many cattle and such in town, mostly in brandon and New Port Richey.
Sorry I couldn't have been more help. Good luck finding one. Gunilla has instructions for a home made one on her website. You might could do that until you get a real one.
Good luck! Carrie
You could probably order one online from LLL Reptile Suply or somewhere... I'd do it quick though!
btw congrats on the eggs!
