Moving Beardie into bigger cage...

Chrysemys Jul 10, 2003 01:26 PM

Hey,
Right now my beardie is about 8 1/2in and in a 20gal L, do you think that he's big enough to go into is "big" cage? or should I wait until he gets bigger? Thanks,
Chris D.

you could wait a little longer, how long have you had him? my dragons live in large cages from the time they are babies, but i feed them in different enclosures, so catching a meal isnt a problem. I would say yes, unless you just got him then i would wait awhile as you dont want to change too many things all at once

I have had him for about a week. I wasnt going to put him in now, I was going to wait a bit longer because right now I have my leos in his "big" cage that I built. My leo is gravid right now so I'm waiting for her to lay her eggs, then move him in and the leos out. Thanks,
Chris D.
