lost gecko's!

mantisman Apr 12, 2005 10:46 PM

hey all,
last friday I lost my 2 hypo tangs. my lil bro brought them upstairs to play with them and forgott about them. on sunday when I went to go check on them in their cage, they weren't there. I looked where my bro left them and couldn't find them. the only thing I did find was a poo by a sink in the laundry room. I have no clue where to look now so I need your guys help!
thanks,
craig condon

the day I found the leos were gone I immediately layed cornstarch down where I thought the geckos might go. unfortunately I couldn'nt do it upstairs so the only places I did it were at the bottom of the stairs and all around the basement. no tracks.

living room, we had a bunch of cloths piled up in the laundry room so I thouroly checked them and then stuck them in a cardboard box so the leos couldn't get in.

this is the office, could the leos be anywhere besides behind the computer and inside the closet?

this is where I think the leos went into. although we had a warm weekend, the heaters might have turned on during the night. there is no top for the vent so it is easy for the leo to fall into.

i dont have an exact ides to help you but usually the most unobvious spot is the one where they are i suggest putting a bowl of mealies if they eat them around the house and see if they came by at all but best of luck to you

First thing to do is pick everything up off the floor, making sure to look in it before putting it away. You should look under/up inside of the washer/dry too.Be very care and tip the machine over on its side. You will have to search everything and everywhere if you want to find your leos, they probably won't be together either.I don't know if they would/could climb the stairs. If you can't find then down stairs then start looking up stairs, have your brother help you look.Good luck and don't give up.
