-sigh- A sad day.

ToR038505 Apr 12, 2005 11:26 PM

I woke up this morning and turned on all my lizards lights like any other day and noticed Lady, my CWD, didn't pay me or the lights any attention. She usually jumps right up on her basking branch and lays down. Well I tried to get her attention but nothing worked, I stuck my hand in there and she was gone. I don't know what happend but she had been through alot recently, her tail was crooked in different places from vit deficientcy and she was malnurished. I guess I was too late to save her. I'll miss her alot as she was my first CWD, feel like crap.

Sorry to hear that. I believe that CWD (and reptiles in general) are very adept at hiding their illnesses from predators and unfortunately that helps them mask it from their owners while in captivity. RIP, Lady.
