Ok Well my baby does not go to the bathroom a lot but when he does I just pick it up with a paper towel. Is that ok? Or every time they do should I clean the whole enclosure and wash the substrate.? ( cage carpet for now). Also I do not thnk this harms him but sometimes when I hold him I feel like rocks in his tail base and i push on it gently over the trash can or toilet and helps him go so he dooesn't do it on me why I am holding him or in the cage. Is that ok or does it bother him somehow. Thanks JUst really wanted to know.

Thats stupid, take him to the vet or let him go on his own, how would you like people pushing on your stomache to make you crap? If your worried about it take him tot he vet. He will go on his own, the lumps are feces build up I'm sure, id get rid of the carpet it will be hard to clean unless you constantly throw it in the washer. Picking it up with paper is fine, but give the entire enclosure a good cleaning every month. STOP PUSHING ON HIS STOMACHE.

Giving your Burm a soak in lukewarm water(make sure it isn't too hot) will loosen his stools as well and more than likely pass feces in the tub. But do yourself and your Burm a favor and switch substrates...get rid of the carpet.
