how many pinkies to feed????

zoogirl Jul 10, 2003 01:30 PM

My approx 2 mo-old thayeri has been taking 1 pinkie per week, very well, (gone in 15 min). How do I know when to start offering him more than 1? What "signs" to kings exhibit when they're hungry??

If you personally feel that one is enough, stick to one for now. If you want to you could try to, but I would wait a few more months and keep him on one.

I think that a good size meal is one that you can see a lump in the snake but not anything huge. Just as long as you can see a lump it's a meal. Oh yeah, kings are always hungry. It's up to you to decide when and what they can eat.
