Anyone from the Phoenix area? Need info on herp laws there.

I may be moving there in a few months, Wife transfering (Household Credit Services) and wanted to know if there are any laws regaing reptiles in general.
Also any areas to avoid (meaning bad neighborhoods) as I have never been there.
I plan on taking a few of my snakes and my chameleons as I have tried living without reptiles and it didn't work lol.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Just moved here last November.
Where are you coming from? Where is your wife working out of? Drop a line and I'll share as much info as I can.
I live in Glendale. Laws are a bit more lax than say California.

She works for Household. We currently live in Salinas, Ca.
Glad to hear about the lax laws as I couldn't imagine not having any reptiles.

I'll find out the address so i can ask a few questions and thanx for your help.

Keep in mind that Arizona is fairly much a conservative Republican state. Meaning they tend to vote against regulations. The exception of course has to do with invasive species (mostly geared towards plant species).
By lax laws I mean AZ allows sugar gliders, ferrets and gerbils. Any herp you can legally keep in CA you can keep in AZ, but there might be 'native species' regulations similiar to CA. Might also be some restrictions on insects, but I haven't looked too much into it. They also don't allow dwarf spiney hedgehogs, prairie dogs, and African pouched rats.
Definitely warmer here. Was 90 today. You may want to considering an outside misting system if you keep your chams outside, but they aren't too expensive.
The reptile shows are also small, but attended well.

Like Gomez said I don't think theres many laws banning reptiles in AZ. I had a lenghty discussion with another keeper at a recent herp show and learned that it's illegal to buy or sell any reptile native to AZ in AZ. Sorry but your going to have to catch those rattlesnakes and gila monsters by your self... Feel free to email me with any questions about the and let me know where you end up.
