Getting my first Sulcata in two days, a few ?'s

jojay327 Apr 13, 2005 06:17 PM

I live in South Carolina and we have a few horses, could I feed my new guy regular coastal hay as his staple diet, or is there a different hay that I should feed more along with grasses ect. Thanks Jason (he is 10 inches)

Just a regular hay is fine I give my guys lots of Timothy Hay.

A variety is good, with timothy and alfa alfa hay probably the best readily available in north america. Alfa alfa is significantly rich in calcium.

Make sure your horses don't break an ankle trotting into this guy's burrow
