I just got my first darts today. D. Tinc 'Olemarie' I'm glued to the tank. They are so cool!

I've noticed that one of them is vibrating its middle toe on both of its back feet. What am I seeing here? Is this some sort of display or a neurological disease?

Thanks,
Nate

Toe tapping...well, there are many theories, but no one knows for sure. Some say they are just excited like tail wagging on dogs. Others have said that that tapping causes the insects to move somehow.

Welcome to the obsession! If you have a digital camera, post some pics of your frogs.

Yes, indeed. They all tap their toes, and we'd all like to know why. Enjoy them. They are certainly addictive. I think it would have been cheaper if I'd taken up heroin or cocaine, but I'm sure darts are more fun.
