STRANGE BEHAVIOR???

THEGECKOLADY Jul 10, 2003 02:10 PM

hi everyone,

i just got a new star tortiose, supposed to be a male. I am keeping it with a much smaller leopard. Problem? The star tortiose is trying to hump the much smaller leopard, is this unusual? please let me know.

thanks

Sounds like normal dominance, territorial and
bullying behavior. Ideally a new tortoise would
be quarantined from established ones and different species would
be kept seperate.
