This not my picture... This looks like a mexican pine to me?? What do you guys think???

This not my picture... This looks like a mexican pine to me?? What do you guys think???

It is a very pretty snake! But there I see no influence of annectens... And no mexican influence...
The connect blotches in the neck are a singn for the subspecies deserticola, thus the spots on the side of the neck are not one line. The spots at neck and tail are black (not brownish as in other subspecies) and lighten in midbody.
Furthermore I see (more a guess, the pic is not big enough for this detail) that there are 4 Präfrontalia.
So, all are signs for a pretty(!) Great Baisin Gopher Snake.

Many Great Basins are on the drab side, but I have seen a few VERY nice individuals like that one before. I wish Great Basins were more common in collections.
Yup, looks like the Great Basins we used to see all the time. I have an old polaroid picture of one just like that that I had 30 years ago. Yours is outstanding!!! They're great snakes!!!
