Where to purchase common snappers in IL?

I am interested in purchasing a baby common and building a little pond outside for it. I can't find a whole lot of snappers around here, but a lot of red ears. Anybody in IL breed commons? Thanks,

I have 18 common snappers hatchlings. I was planing on releasing them this spring.

They are really cool.
