My turtle has a pretty big wound under her arm...i think the other turtles have been nipping each other but this is a pretty big nip! I can see teeny bits of pink showing so im really concerned. Ive been apply betadine to the wound, letting her sit out for half an hour, and then applying liquid bandage to her for the past few days but it doesn't seem to be getting any better. do yall think it's time to go to the vet? and how do i stop my turtles from nipping each other? Tonight I have quarrantined the injured turtle.

Yes I would say it was time for the vet.

As far as keeping your turtles from being nippy..what size tank are they in? How many arethere? and what are there sexes? How large are they?

Too many turtles in a tank not big enough can cause nipping, also having multiple males in one tank will as well.
